Put on your planning hat! Another year is almost here, and at Juice, we are ready to make this upcoming year a great one. Our hope is to help you get organized and keep your eye on what is important for an amazing 2025. Take a glimpse at our practical tips below to set you up for success …
1. Ask, what's important for you or your business?
Pick five important things to accomplish in this new year. Keep it simple and not overwhelming. Think about your values too.
For example: Do you need more time to focus on yourself? Do you need more time to work on your business instead of always working in your business? Do you need to get out in the community and connect?
Doing this evaluation step will help your planning process stay purposeful, clear, and keep you on track.
2. Map it out.
Keeping goals in your mind without putting them on paper is an approach that does not work. Instead, map out what your year looks like on a calendar or journal. You’ve heard this before, because it works!
Get yourself a planner that works best for you. Or be eco conscious and go fully digital. Although, it’s been said that writing it down on paper is more impactful.
Having your goals and plans organized and mapped out in front of you supports your ability to visualize your time and stay on top of your week, your month, or even your year. (Bonus points if you just started singing the music from the show Friends!)
3. Hold yourself compassionately accountable.
There are many ways to keep yourself accountable, yet it still tends to be a difficult task at times. Have an accountability partner, place notes around your home or office to remind and inspire you, or create a checklist you look at frequently to enforce your goals.
When you do this, it is important to approach your accountability with compassion. Remember, you are not perfect and slip-ups happen. Practice being kind and understanding toward yourself on the journey!
