The Seven Experiment

“Catch someone doing seven things right before you point out one thing they’re doing wrong.” Peter Bregman suggests that 7:1 ratio in the work environment. We think he makes a valid point in all areas of life.

Here are seven things you could compliment at work:

1. A great idea
2. Initiative (you know, doing without asking)
3. Overcoming a hurdle
4. A positive attitude
5. Dependability
6. Surpassing a goal
7. A finished project

Of course, there are many more, but hopefully, this gets us thinking.
